Art

Learning to create and appreciate art is an essential part of child development.  Through art, students learn to develop their motor skills, language skills, decision-making ability and higher-order thinking skills. Teaching students the elements and principles of art allows students to creatively express themselves, and also provides students with a greater understanding of art history, the artwork itself, and artwork from different cultures around the world.
